Pleasant Woods is located approximately 30 miles north of Portland, Oregon in the wooded hills of Kalama, Washington. I have dedicated the last 6 years to creating a breeding program to improve the "Type" of the Toy and Mini Aussies as well as maintain their wonderful temperaments both as a show/breeding dog as well as a companion/pet. The airport is just a few minutes away for those who need shipping arrangements. For those who would like to visit the Aussie Posse, you are welcome to visit and stay as long as you want. I love to share our Oregon hospitality and beautiful state. The door is always open for those wanting to come sit a spell and talk dogs. We are striving to breed Toy and Mini Aussies with the epitome of presence, type, and style,
which meet the breed standard. These are sturdy little dogs with beautiful coats and wonderful tempera-ments coming from top producing lines. These are champions producing champions, generation after gen-eration, their progeny speak for themselves. Their achievement reflect our ongoing commitment to quality.
We are located on the prairies of Alberta, Canada, but have the beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. We are only miles from the state of Montana.
As new breeders to the Toy Aussie, we are striving to improve the breed by selecting top females and males. We are very happy and proud to be the owners of Away to Me Darby Doll of Alta--2008 TASAA Nationals Champion, and Dreamland Paisley Blue of Alta--2008 TASAA Reserve Champion. Thank you to Ruth Vanderhoof for her dedication and ongoing development of the Toy Australian Shepherd breed, thus giving us these bragging rights. Thank you to her daughter, Heidi Saling, for handling these champions at the TASAA Nationals.
